    This session is being organized with the purpose that students understand what it takes for a Nepali student to go abroad and settle there. There are several confusions and grey areas which are not answered, when a student proceeds abroad for further studies. Through this session Mr. Sajak Upadhyaya will share his experience about his journey to the United States and attempt to answer the queries.

    Mr. Upadhyaya is one of the Alumni members of our education foundation and was very competent student during his college days. He is well established as a Software Engineer at Dynata, United States.

    Mr. Rabin Gaire, an alumni of ACHS, is an enthusiast in Compiler Design and loves to poke software solutions to see how it works. Currently, he is working as a Software Engineer in Leapfrog Technology. It is said “Coming events casts their shadows before”. Mr. Gaire showed his signs of programming capabilities quite early in his college days undertaking and executing several brilliant projects.

    This session “Beyond Academics During Academics” consists of experience sharing by Mr. Gaire on how to shape professional career during one’s academic life.

    The resource person for this session is Mr. Sachin Jung Karki, Chief Information Security Officer at NexLogiQ. Mr. Karki has been in the industry for more than 14 years. Along with being experienced, he has several System and Security certification.

    His insights about Network and Cyber Security shall be highly informative and suggested for IT as well as non-IT students.

  • REALITY CHECK: IT GRADUATES

    This session aims to enlighten the students about the difficulties an IT graduate faces in the industry and how to overcome through such phase. The resource person for the session is Mr. Shishir Thapa, we is currently working as a Software Engineer at Danphe Software Labs. Mr. Thapa is also an Alumni Member of ACHS.

    Shishir is one of those guys who believes in Action rather than Words. Our perception of him has been a person who makes it count when it matters the most. His silent and down-to-earth nature are some of the features that distinguishes him from the rest of the cohort.

    The session is intended to impart knowledge about making a good presentation. It can be seen students making even basic mistakes during their presentations, knowingly or unknowingly.

    The session looks into highlighting such common errors made by students and the remedies that can be taken to overcome such errors.

    The session will have Mr. Brihat Singh Boswa sharing his experience and knowledge in making a good presentation. The session will be focused in basic but important aspects of doing a presentation.

  • WORKING WITH GIT & GITHUB

    With the increasing requirement of collaboration in different projects, the popularity of Git has been risen by multiple folds. It is so popular these days that even college projects involving groups are required to collaborate for the project and use a platform such as GitHub.

    The resource person for the event is Mr. Diwash Shrestha, who has been conducting different sessions related to Git and GitHub. Also, Mr. Shrestha is also an MSP and has been involved in conducting several other fruitful sessions for ACHS students.

    The session is intended to be a practical one. Therefore, all participants are required to have Git installed in their system for the session.
